ABOUT

Hi! I’m Alex

Individual and relationship coach who works with clients to improve their overall wellbeing based on individual needs and goals

In my other business I am a licensed professional counselor. Through coaching, I get to embrace wellness advocacy and support clients toward thriving connections.

Although therapy informs my work and is what inspired me to expand into coaching - counseling and coaching are different modalities (scroll down to see why that’s important).

I’ve always been passionate about helping others. I started my career in the fitness industry and quickly recognized the larger need for more focus in the mental health space as well. I love working with people, I’m naturally curious, and feel drawn to human stories.

My coaching business developed out of a desire to continue expanding my work through supporting clients where they are at, a space I wish I had access to throughout my own relational journey.

One thing I’ve always known to be true - our relational connections are developmental, constantly changing and growing.

My Story

In my own life, I’ve done relationships a lot of different ways. Changing seasons and self-discovery inspired times of exploration and experiences that have shaped the way I support others. What I’ve found is that although each relational story and structure is unique, the underlying parts of intimate connection are mostly the same.

I see my role as a compassionate but challenging guide. Client goals are my priority. You’re the dreamer & the narrator - I’m the encouraging support. Coaching blends the best of my personality and skill set. It is goal-focused, direct but empathetic, deeply relational, and always oriented toward meaningful change.

I’ve got a no-bullshit personality, so if you’re ready to break unproductive cycles and create lasting change - you’re in the right place.

Why Coaching?

I offer coaching and I'm also a licensed therapist. However, I do not accept new therapy clients through this business.

Understanding the distinction helps ensure:

Clients get the support that's best suited to where you are now, and we stay in ethical, legal, and transformational alignment.

COACHING VS. THERAPY

Different services. Different purposes.
The right support depends on where you are today.

Because I offer both coaching and counseling through separate businesses, I believe it's important to clearly explain the distinction so you can decide the type of support that's right for you.

Important to Know

Jordan Coaching Collective provides coaching services only and does not offer therapy or other mental health treatment. Counseling services are provided separately through Jordan Counseling, PLLC and are available only to Texas residents.

Coaching clients can be seen virtually, from any location.

If, at any point, therapy appears to be a better fit for your needs, I'm happy to discuss appropriate options and help you determine the type of support that's right for you.
